What it does

A Pi left loose behind the dash rattles, and anything metal back there can short it. This closes it up: the Pi sits on four posts, the clock board has its own bay along the back wall, and every cable leaves through an opening made for it.

Four ears with cable-tie slots let you strap it to a bracket or a harness wherever there's room.

Pi and clock in one box
The Pi 4 screws to four posts, and a DS3231 clock board gets its own bay, so log names keep the right date with the car off.
Airflow
Intake slots along the back wall, and a grille in the lid with screw holes for a 40 mm fan.
An opening for every cable
USB-C power in, a slot for the screen's ribbon cable, and one in the lid for the lead that powers the screen.
Straps down anywhere
Four ears with slots for standard cable ties.
Printed in ASA
ASA stands up to heat and sun, so it keeps its shape in a car parked outside, where PLA would soften.
