Spooled Dash displays data produced by third-party tuning platforms — including DynoSpectrum (DS1) and MHD. Spooled Racing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with DynoSpectrum, MHD, Audi, BMW, or any vehicle manufacturer. Those names are used only to describe what our product is compatible with.

Those platforms are developed and controlled entirely by other companies. They can change, update, restrict, or discontinue their software, firmware, data formats, protocols, or connection methods at any time, without notice to us and without our agreement. Any such change may reduce Spooled Dash's functionality, or stop it working with your setup altogether.

You accept that this risk exists and is outside our control. A loss of compatibility caused by a change to third-party software is not a defect in your product, and does not on its own entitle you to a refund, a replacement, or a warranty repair.

We will make commercially reasonable efforts to restore compatibility through software updates where we can. We cannot promise that restoring compatibility will be technically possible, that it will be possible within any particular timeframe, or that it will be possible at all — and in some cases the third party's own decisions will make it impossible.

The same applies to your vehicle. Manufacturer software updates, ECU replacements, changes to your tune, and modifications to your vehicle's electronics can all affect whether Spooled Dash works.

Each unit is built for a specific vehicle chassis and a specific tuning platform. Before you order, it is your responsibility to confirm that the unit you are buying matches your vehicle and your setup. The fitment list on this website, and any guidance we give you before purchase, is offered in good faith but is not a guarantee.

A functioning, correctly installed unit of the third-party tuning platform is required. Without one there is no data for Spooled Dash to display, and the product will not do anything useful.

Spooled Dash is an informational display. It is not a safety device, not a substitute for your vehicle's own instruments and warning systems, and not a diagnostic tool of record.

Never operate, configure, or read the device in a way that distracts you from driving. You are solely responsible for operating your vehicle safely and lawfully at all times, for keeping your eyes on the road, and for complying with every law that applies where you are driving — including laws about screens and displays in vehicles.

Mounting matters. You must install the device so it does not obstruct your view, interfere with vehicle controls, or obstruct the deployment of any airbag. If you are not confident doing this correctly, have it fitted by a qualified professional.

Spooled products are intended for use on vehicles that are already running aftermarket tuning software. Modifying or tuning a vehicle can damage it, can affect its emissions compliance and roadworthiness, and will usually void some or all of the manufacturer's warranty. Those consequences are yours, and they exist whether or not you own our product.

We are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle, engine, drivetrain, or electronics, for any loss of manufacturer warranty, or for any consequence of a decision you made after looking at data on our display. We do not provide tuning advice, and nothing shown on the device or said by us is a recommendation about how to run your vehicle.

Installation is your responsibility. Damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect wiring, or connection to an unsuitable power source is not covered by our warranty.

Except for the limited warranty in section 10, and to the fullest extent the law allows, our products and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the product will be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with any particular vehicle or third-party platform, or that it will remain compatible over time.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Where implied warranties cannot be excluded, they are limited to the duration of the limited warranty in section 10.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or vehicle use, arising out of or relating to the product or these Terms — whether the claim is in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
